Kapamilya stars Vice Ganda and Angel Locsin commends their home network.

ABS-CBN is offering its transmission network to help government air educational programs in the coming school year.

ABS-CBN recently said that they are allowing the current administration to use its transmission network for the implementation of distance learning.

The network also stated that its educational shows such as “Sine’skwela,” “Math-Tinik,” and “Bayani” can also be used to help millions of students.

In response to the educational thrust of the government in this time of the pandemic, we are offering the use of our transmission network to broadcast educational programs all over the country. We hope to help the government continuously educate students nationwide despite the limitations brought about by the pandemic,” ABS-CBN said.

“While this is not expected to have any business impact to the company, we are hopeful that our network can help in the education of our students nationwide,” it added.

Through Instagram, Vice shared a Tagalog version of the statement of the Kapamilya network.

He also lauded the media giant for its unwavering service to the Filipinos despite the heavy issues being thrown against it.

“Saludo!” he quipped.

“Serbisyong di matatawaran!” he added.

Angel Locsin also posted on her Instagram account by saying, “Para sa kabataan.”

In his daily press briefing today, July 28, Presidential Spokesperson Harry Roque reacted to this offer from ABS-CBN.

“Ayos naman po, ‘no, pero sa ngayon po dedesisyunan muna kung sino ang gagamit ng mga frequencies dahil nabakante na nga po ‘yan.

“Kinakailangang ipagamit po ‘yan gaya ng sinabi ng ating gobyerno.

“Pero kung gobyerno po ang gagamit, salamat po at baka naman po puwede po gamitin yung mga transmission at yung mga materyales ng ABS-CBN.”
