Ted Failon saying goodbye after his 30years of service in ABS CBN.

Ted Failon finally leaving his home network ABS CBN after 30 years of service.

Because ABS CBN failed to renew its franchise, many talents, workers, and even reporters are now transferring to other stations or networks.

And one of them is Ted Failon who needed to end his contract with ABS-CBN after 30 long years.

On the official twitter account of ABS CBN, they sadly announced the decision of Ted Failon, a veteran television and radio broadcaster.

“The closure of ABS-CBN’s radio broadcast operations led to his painful decision and we respect it,” part of the ABS-CBN’s official statement.

The network also gives thanks to a long 30 years of service of Ted Failon to them.

“We admire Ted’s talent, passion, and commitment to radio as his most effective medium in serving the Filipino people.”

This Monday, August 31, Ted will be having his final appearance in TV Patrol and Ted Failon Ngayon sa Teleradyo.

ABS CBN shared that Ted Failon started back in 1990 when he was an anchor of DZMM.

The multi-awarded broadcast journalist had worked with Korina Sanchez and Gel Santos-Relos in their program Hoy Gising that aims to air the concerns of the citizens in the hope to be given a solution and action.

On the other hand, Korina Sanchez first revealed her transfer to TV5 ahead of Ted Failon’s decision.

However, before leaving the network, Ted throws some shades over his statement.
